Educational Qualifications for the FSSAI Exam
To apply for any of the FSSAI posts/openings, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree. The educational requirements vary depending on the position for which the candidates are applying. The following are the minimum educational requirements for each position:

| Personal Assistant | A bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution is required. |
| Assistant Manager (IT) | A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science from a reputable college or institution is required.
Candidates must have worked in the appropriate profession for at least three years. |

Eligibility Criteria for the FSSAI Exam are based on nationality.
Although it is apparent that the positions are solely available to Indian citizens. Candidates from other nations can, however, apply for the position. Candidates who are citizens of the following countries are also eligible to apply for the following positions:
- An Indian national
- Nepalese national
- Bhutanese national
- Any Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before to January 1, 1962 with the goal of living there.
- Anyone who has moved to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or any other east African country with the goal of staying permanently in India.
